• User Account Data: Name, email address, profile avatar, and account credentials when registering or authenticating via Google OAuth.
• Verification & KYC Data (Optional): GSTIN, MSME Udyam registration details, business incorporation certificates, or business email proof submitted for obtaining an official Verified Business badge.
• Payment Information: For Pro and Sponsored plans, payments are processed directly and securely through our PCI-DSS compliant payment partner, Razorpay. ApnaDirectory does not store or process your complete credit/debit card numbers, UPI PINs, or net banking credentials.
• Technical & Log Information: IP addresses, browser type, device information, and access timestamps collected automatically for security, fraud prevention, and uptime monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following legitimate purposes:

• To publish and showcase public business directory profiles and categorize them by state, city, and sector.
• To facilitate direct inquiries between prospective customers and verified businesses via website links, phone, or WhatsApp.
• To process listing upgrades and renewals via Razorpay.
• To detect, prevent, and mitigate fraudulent listings, duplicate profiles, spam, and platform abuse.
• To communicate service updates, listing approval notifications, and essential security notices.

4. Public Directory Visibility

Please note that information submitted under public business fields (including business name, city, category, description, and website URL) is intended for public consumption and indexing by search engines (e.g., Google, Bing). Contact buttons (Phone & WhatsApp) are published strictly according to the listing tier chosen by the business owner.

5. Third-Party Services & Payment Gateways

We collaborate with trusted third-party providers to operate our platform:

• Razorpay Software Private Limited: Handles payment processing for Indian UPI, cards, and net banking under strict RBI regulations.
• Sanity.io: Cloud database and content management infrastructure.
• Resend: Transactional email service for order receipts and verification emails.

We never sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to third-party data brokers or advertisers.

6. Data Security & Storage

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All web communications are encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / SSL).
